Rocky Mountain Academy Expands
Rocky Mountain Academy graduated 21 students on December 9, 1989, bringing them to 129 students. This last year RMA expanded tuition sources to allow payment from school districts, Insurance companies, and are starting to build an endowment fund to allow some scholarships.

Mount Bachelor Academy Growing
As of early December, Mount Bachelor Academy was at 43 students and still growing. They anticipate reaching the optimum number of 72 students by the end of 1990.

The Education Group Celebrates One Year Anniversary
Mary Kesler, Mike Sheppard, Bill Fleming, & Brooke Dudley of Dallas, Texas, recently celebrated the one year anniversary of THE EDUCATION GROUP, a teacher and administrator placement business for private schools in the Southeast. They tell me business has been picking up steadily.

Denis M. Donovan, M.D., New Book Coming Out
Denis M. Donovan M.D., of St. Petersburg, Florida, has a book coming out in May, 1990, called HEALING THE HURT CHILD. Advance reviews have been very positive.

Spring Creek Community School Growing
As of late November, Spring Creek Community School had 42 students, what they consider their optimum number.

SUWS Has Three New Staff Members
The School of Urban and Wilderness Survival (SUWS) has on staff three Master Level Practitioners of Neurolinguistic Programing (NLP). L.J., Patty, and John. Patty also has a MSW and is Drug and Alcohol certified.

Hyde School Announced Intent to Form Another School
Hyde School announced the intent to form another school someplace in the country, based on Hyde School's approach to education. As of early December, on the Maine campus they have 150 students and are building a new dorm which will allow up to 175 students next year.

Tom Finucane Visiting Schools
Tom Finucane (also known as Tom Gregory), past director of Eagle Mountain Outpost is spending his time visiting schools and programs around the country to learn of new ideas being put in practice.
