Jim and Karen Glaeser would like to announce the opening of
their new Educational Consulting business. Jim’s experience
consists of over 10 years in the outdoor behavioral health
field. After serving as a counselor and assistant director
at SUWS in Idaho, Jim took the lead role in the start-up of
SUWS of the Carolinas and Adirondack Leadership Expeditions
and served as Executive Director for those programs. He was
also an active participant in the opening of Lone Star Expeditions
and served as a consultant with Phoenix Outdoor. He has most
recently been accepted as a provisional member of the IECA.
Karen is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of
Idaho. She has worked with at-risk teens for over six years
as an instructor at SUWS of Idaho, as a drug/alcohol prevention
specialist in the Gooding, ID school district, and as a clinician
at Ascent. Her experience also includes counseling women in
a domestic violence agency and as a substance abuse counselor
at a drug/alcohol rehabilitation program.
Jim and Karen look forward to continuing to serve families
with at-risk adolescents in need of support and direction
in the increasingly complex world of therapeutic programs.
