For the fourth year, Mount Bachelor Academy is offering their annual summer program for children needing some emotional growth along with regular summer camp activities. It is seven weeks in length, at the price of many three week wilderness survival programs.

The program starts July 5th, with graduation on Sunday, August 22nd. It includes Natural Science and Field Studies, Communication Workshops, Photography and Journal Writing, and Leadership Training. Students will receive academic credits in Natural Science, Physical Conditioning and Humanities.

"Participants, ages 13-18, will have an opportunity to experience close friendships and develop outstanding leadership skills through the demands of a rigorous daily schedule and a variety of physical challenges."

It "...focuses on learning while experiencing the challenge of the wilderness during the summer months. Backpacking, biking and whitewater rafting adventures will challenge and strengthen problem solving and leadership skills."
