The Western Youth Network provides specialized clinical and consultive services to mental health professionals, health care agencies, schools, and parents who are seeking information regarding effective residential placement for mildly and severely emotionally and behaviorally disordered youth.

The purposes of the Western Youth Network are:

  • Inpatient and outpatient assessment as well as individualized residential placement.

  • Develop and maintain a network of complimentary, high quality programs for children and adolescents

  • Accurately assess and match the clinical and financial needs of each youth with the most appropriate treatment program or service available.

  • Provide to parents and professionals accurate information regarding residential programs and their costs.

  • Insure appropriate utilization of adolescent specialty services within predetermined clinical and financial parameters.

  • Provide an educational forum for developing and disseminating accurate information pertaining to residential treatment programs.
