Child Abuse Reports

Women's Day magazine contained the following. "In 1990, 2.5 million cases of child abuse were reported, an increase of almost 400 percent since 1976. Rising even faster are false accusations. In 1976 only 35 percent of cases were found to be unsubstantiated: today that number is up to 65 percent. One result is there are now 3,000 chapters of Victims of Child Abuse Laws (VOCAL) across the country."
