Inland Northwest Meeting
On February 27th, several
schools and programs from the Inland Northwest spent the day in Sandpoint,
Idaho comparing notes and experiences regarding what works in wilderness
oriented programs. In attendance was staff from Rocky Mountain Academy,
Eagle Mountain Outpost, Spirit Mountain Treatment Center, Pine Crest
Hospital, Shamrock Educational Alternative, Loveland Farms, and Lon
Woodbury. The format was informal, and the networking was high. Everyone
felt they gained a lot and the group plans to gather again in a few
months.
