This independent, non-profit, co-educational day school serves students, grades 1-12, "with learning disabilities and/or those needing a small, structured setting, individualization, and a low teacher/student ratio." It was founded in 1967, and can help a few students find boarding situations so out of state and out of country students can attend the program.

Although the school does not work specifically with students with behavioral/emotional programs, the staff has found that for the appropriate student, behavior problems disappear once the student is on an education plan that meets his or her individual education needs.
