To Whom It May Concern,

My son was sent to Whitmore Academy on October 6th of this year. I checked into the program very extensively as I really did not want to send him off, but he was headed in the wrong direction and we knew we had to do what was best for him.

Whitmore Academy has been the smartest move we made for our son. We had tried many other options, and this is the only one that has helped. He has changed in such a short time and is turning into the person we knew him to be. We cannot say enough good things about this program and the staff. They have kept us informed every inch of the way and let us talk to him a few weeks after he got there. He actually thanked us for sending him. He realized he was going nowhere and feels this saved him.

We are allowed to talk to him totally by himself (we asked him about this on the second call), so if there were any problems he would have told us. We also were impressed that when something does happen the kids are telling us. There are no secrets.

I have to say this surprised us at first, but only validates that the school is completely on the up and up. If the school had something to hide, would that be the case?? There are always kids that may want to go home and will say anything to get away as in this case. We truly believe that our son would be in serious trouble right now if not for Mark, Cheryl and the rest of the Whitmore staff. If we were concerned the tiniest bit for our son's safety or well-being, I would pull him out of there in a heartbeat. But that is not the case at all. In fact, we would be heartbroken for him not to be able to continue the growth we have seen in him. We have full confidence in our decision and support Whitmore Academy and their staff to the fullest extent.

If you would like to talk to us, we would be happy to do so at any time.

Thank you,

Tina & Craig Estes
