Three Rivers Montana Wilderness Program is currently looking for a quality family therapist to work with parents, adolescents 13-17 guiding therapeutic direction for all. Therapists facilitate individual, family, and group therapy, as well as the use of therapeutic letter writing weekly for students and parents
Three Rivers is an assessment program, utilizing the mountains in Southwest Montana as a 49-day minimum stay for students and requires parents to come for a parent workshop at the beginning of the program and also for graduation. Therapists spend two days and one night in the wilderness with staff and students and the rest of their time is centered around work with families, educational consultants, clinical collaboration, paperwork, and interface with other staff. Therapists maintain a smaller caseload as well.

Qualifications:
Academic: Masters degree from accredited school in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or related field.
License: LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT
License in the state of Montana is required. For those out of state that are licensed there can be a transition time allotted.
Responsibilities:
Weekly group, individual and family therapy (direct and phone therapy), writing clinical progress notes, discharge summaries, weekly communication with professionals, guide therapeutic process with parents, in the field with students directly and through staff, facilitate direct family therapy, mentor field instructors, attend industry conferences, communicate with other therapeutic programs as needed, assess suicide assessment of students and design treatment goals as needed, maintain high work ethic and balanced self care. Must be able to drive in various road conditions in the winter, accessing groups in the backcountry using knowledge of roads, maps, with the use of radios, and be the secondary on-call person once every two months for one week.

Senior Instructor |
Three Rivers Montana, a non-profit organization near Bozeman, Montana, is currently seeking applicants for Senior Instructors in our therapeutic wilderness program. The Three Rivers' model is a unique approach focusing on individualized, supportive treatment with a strong family component.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Instructor is responsible for supervising the direct care of one team of students.
Areas of focus include: ensuring the health and safety of students, wilderness risk management, weekly travel and activity planning, programmatic implementation, coordination with Therapists and Team Leaders on student treatment progress.
The Senior Instructor acts as the supervisor of a team of Instructors.
Areas of focus include: supervision and development of Field Instructors, identifying areas of needed training, and conducting written evaluations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly motivated, energetic, team player and success-oriented personality
- Experience working with youth at-risk in a backcountry setting
- Confidence in the ability to safely and effectively supervise student and staff teams
- WFR, or EMT certification
- BS/BA degree
- Able to meet rigorous demands of position (eg, hike 12 miles with a 65 pound pack).
- Must be able to clear a Background Investigation and pass pre-employment drug screen
- Valid Driver's License
SALARY/ BENEFITS: $130 / day, benefits after 3 mo. employment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly motivated, energetic, team player and success-oriented personality
- Experience working with youth at-risk in a backcountry setting
- Creative with excellent problem solving skills
- BS/BA degree
- WFR or EMT certification preferred, First Aid/CPR minimum
- Able to meet rigorous demands of position (eg, hike 12 miles with a 65 pound pack).
- Must be able to clear a Background Investigation and pass pre-employment drug screen
- Valid Driver's License
