Located in beautiful North Alabama, The Pinnacle Schools/Elk River Residential Treatment Program, works every day to fulfill our mission to develop teens that are self-directed, educated and contributing members of society. As an Outdoor Youth Counselor, you can use your positive attitude to encourage troubled teens and directly impact their young lives. Working with a group of up to 8 teens ages 12-18, you will assist clinical staff with parent workshops as well as group and family therapy.
We are currently seeking highly motivated, energetic and qualified staff for our Elkmont, Alabama campus. This position carries great responsibility. Modeling positive behaviors such as goal setting, communication skills, peer relations and personal accountability are of paramount importance.
Requirements: Social Science, Behavioral Health, Criminal Justice or Psychology Degree required.
