Psychologist/Licensed Therapist

Description:
Cherry Gulch is a high-quality ranch-style therapeutic boarding school for 11 to 14 year-old boys. The school is located in a beautiful setting near Boise, Idaho. We are seeking applications from skilled clinicians interested in joining our team. Candidates are expected to carry a caseload of 8 students. Each student will receive approximately 10 hours of therapy per week.

1 to 2 hours of Individual Therapy
2 hours of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy
2 hours of initiatives, therapeutic games or other experiential therapies
2 hours of Psychology of Daily Living Class
2 hours of Recreation Therapy
1 hour of Family Therapy
2 hours of Group Therapy (process) or more experiential therapy

Candidates are expected to provide weekly phone consultation to parents and referring professionals, keep excellent records, and attend a weekly management meeting and clinical meeting.

Qualifications:
Ph.D. or Masters level clinical degree is required, as well as eligibility for licensure in the State of Idaho. Post-doctoral supervision is available for excellent candidates. Experience working with pre-adolescents and early adolescents and their families in a clinical setting. Ideal candidates will be Licensed Clinical Psychologists with experience working in Therapeutic Boarding Schools or Residential Treatment Centers. Strong clinical skills, the ability to manage a caseload and good interpersonal skills are required. Creativity, patience, humor, and a willingness to participate in adventures and experiential therapies are highly desired qualities.
Salary: 35 to 60K depending on education and experience

Description:
Cherry Gulch, a private ranch-style therapeutic boarding school serving boys 10-14 years of age, is seeking a teacher with or able to obtain Idaho K-8 or Secondary math/science certification. Dual endorsement and/or special education is a plus. Our school which is located one hour outside of Boise, is looking for a caring and responsible individual who has experience working with today's youth. Low student to teacher ratios and individualized academic plans foster a positive learning environment for students as they work through the K12 curriculum and teacher led courses.

Requirements:
Interested individuals must posses a Bachelors degree with a Masters preferred and be at least 21 years of age.

Salary:
DOE + competitive benefits.

Description: Cherry Gulch is a small private owner operated, high-quality ranch style therapeutic boarding school designed specifically for 10 to 14 year old boys.

Our goal is to provide early intervention and prevention to help these boys reach their full potential and to become well-rounded prosocial young men.

Cherry Gulch has openings available for highly experienced and qualified staff. All interested individuals are encouraged to apply but only the finest applicants will be selected. An extensive criminal background check will be conducted on all applicants. Cherry Gulch is a drug-free work place. Successful applicants will not only have outstanding credentials but will also be highly compassionate and have a genuine desire to better the lives of the boys we work with and their families.

Direct Care Staff are responsible for the direct care, supervision, and safety of students. Preference given to candidates who are at least 21 years old, have a bachelor degree, and have residential experience working with children and adolescents. Preference will also be given to certified Life Guards, EMT's, Paramedics, and people who are creative and have experience leading creative experiential activities. Full-time positions are available for a variety of shifts.

Qualifications: High School Diploma, dedication, energy and enthusiasm.
