The student program consists of three overlapping components, the Academic Program, the Counseling Services Program, and the Student Life Program. This tripartite approach reflects Auldern Academy's commitment to meeting the needs of the whole student, intellectually, emotionally and socially.
Job Duties

The Director of Admissions oversees the entire admissions process, from the initial call from a parent and/or referral source to the actual admission of a new student.

The Director of Admissions is responsible for general marketing activities specific to Auldern, such as mailing school information, following-up with potential referrals, documenting inquiry and referral information, scheduling and conducting on-campus tours for referral sources, parents and prospective students, obtaining admissions forms and necessary documentation, educating prospective parents and students about the school, conducting either face to face or phone interviews with prospective students and coordinating the admission day of the student.

The Director of Admissions is responsible for representing the school at various marketing functions, working with referring professionals to help them understand our students and our services.

The Director of Admissions enthusiastically promotes the school, building further interest of parents calling to inquire about the school; works toward establishing a high conversion rate of appropriate students; helps administration work trouble-shooting to improve student retention.
The Director of Admissions works closely with the Referral Relations Department of Three Springs, supporting all company policies, procedures and activities.

The Director of Admissions is also responsible for the development, leadership, and management of all admissions functions, including:
- Staying current on entering inquiry tracking on Lotus database.
- Welcoming families and students on campus tours and admission interviews.
- Coordinating applicant screening with all departments.
- Collecting all pertinent admission reports and information.
- Coordinating referral source campus tours.
- Entering student information in data base.
- Managing all incoming referral and inquiry calls.
- Working with families to complete all required admission paperwork prior to enrolling the student.
- Arranging the enrollment process with the Student Life department.
- Supporting and helping coordinate the Parent Education and School Showcase weekends.
Job Requirements

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Counseling, or related field is required, a Masters degree is preferred.

Must have 2-5 years previous admissions experience in either a therapeutic program or boarding school.

Must have strong relationships with referral sources and an attitude to provide excellent service to prospective students and parents.

Must have a desire to become part of a dynamic team that is working toward building a quality personal growth school for young women.

Job Duties
- The Therapist provides individual and group therapy as well as case management services to an assigned case load of 8-10 female residents.
- The Therapist works extensively with adolescents with defiant behavior and oppositional conduct disorder.
Job Requirements
- Must possess a Masters degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or closely related clinical field.
- Must have a minimum of 1+ years experience in one or more of the following areas: adolescent behavioral healthcare, sexual disorders, special education, and family reunification in an appropriate adolescent treatment environment.
- Position requires professional communication and liaison with parents, referral sources, and other treatment professionals.
Preferred Skills
Appropriate licensure is desirable, but not required.

Location: Siler City,
NC - 50 miles West of Raleigh
Salary: $23,700
Auldern Academy, a college preparatory
and personal growth boarding school for girls, is seeking an energetic
and experienced person for the key position of Dorm Counselor.
Overview:
Primary responsibility is to accomplish program objectives as delegated
by the Director of Student Life and Head of School. The goal
is to ensure that program integrity and the therapeutic environment
including group, individual counseling, and experiential education
is maintained.
The Dorm Counselor is responsible for maintaining
supervision, health and safety of the students, providing documentation,
teaching life skills and social skills, utilizing teaching moments,
and helping the students learn skills to be successful when they
leave Auldern. Dorm Counselors are expected to build relationships
with the students while also being the disciplinarian and maintaining
healthy boundaries. Dorm Counselors provide group counseling and
individual counseling, as well as providing the structure throughout
the weekends and evenings. Dorm Counselors actively participate
as a part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team to assist adolescent
girls with their behavioral, emotional, or substance abuse issues.
Good judgment, communication, and openness to feedback are necessary.
The Dorm Counselor position requires shift work, with shifts ranging
from 3-6 days and getting 12 days off per month.
Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling,
Psychology, Social work, or a closely related field from an accredited
college or university. Preference will be given to candidates with
specific experience working in a 24/7 therapeutic environment with
adolescents with behavioral, emotional, or substance abuse needs.
Candidates should also be willing to learn and grow, be open to
giving and receiving feedback, and be willing to be a vocal part
of a team.
