The current clients are responding very well to the program elements and we are seeing positive responses and growth already. Willow Creek Lodge, a Q&A Associates program, is a retreat style program for young adults (18-26 years old) just west of Asheville, NC. With our team of experts, clients will engage in a clinically intense workshop style retreat to help them deal with the effects of anxiety, stress, trauma and the vicious cycle of repeated attempts to launch with little or no success. Clients with overwhelming emotions lack the ability to use their emotions as guides for effective action. Daily activities are centered around our Neurofeedback sessions, but clients also engage in Equine Therapy, mindfulness, yoga, and clinical sessions. The combination of these evidence based treatment modalities give clients the tools and training necessary to construct a future for themselves. Dr. Sandy Newes, our Director of Clinical Services and Research, has partnered with some of the most well respected clinicians and practitioners in the Asheville area to create a cutting edge, innovative, and evidence based program that is unlike any other. This program has been her vision and dream for many years in the making. For inquiries or more information contact Audrey Peavey at audrey@qa-associates.com or call at 207-356-0930. Q and A Associates was established to provide opportunities for failure to launch young adults to gain the confidence and skills needed to achieve independence. Our clients are often struggling with independent living skills, school or college life, finding or maintaining employment, social skills or family relationships. Through our program, clients build self-esteem and confidence while learning the hard life skills needed to achieve independence. We work with the whole family to teach new communication strategies that will allow the family to be healthier and happier. © Copyright 2012 by Woodbury Reports, Inc. |
