Wediko Summer Program: "Camp Plus"
  • 45 day residential program on beautiful, 450 acre lakefront campus
  • Fun and engaging program, reminiscent of "summer camp" in a structured, therapeutic environment
  • Youth build skills to develop mastery; success is unavoidable
  • Emphasis on social-emotional learning and academics
  • Alignment with PBIS and RTI frameworks
  • Cabin groups led by clinical supervisors embedded in program
  • Better than a 1:2 staff to student ratio
  • Family Program facilitated by clinicians, using psycho-education and practical approaches to engage parents and build skills for sustainable change
  • 1.5 hours of classroom-based academics per day, five days per week as well as limitless exploration of our ecologically rich campus


Our Students
  • Girls and boys, ages 9-19, who:
    • Have faced repeated obstacles in their lives due to a broad spectrum of social, emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges, such as depression and bipolar disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder, anxiety, loss, and trauma
    • Have experienced repeated failures at school, compromised relationships with peers, and significant tensions within their families
    • Would benefit from continued focus on social, emotional and academic skill-development during the summer months
    • Are receptive to language-based interventions
  • Likely rule-outs:
    • IQ below 80
    • Active psychosis
    • Violent behavior
    • Sexual predatory behavior
    • Substance addiction
