Julia Andrick recently stopped by the Woodbury Reports office for a visit while directing a tour around the Northwest. Julia is the Director of Outreach and Marketing for Bulder Creek Academy.
Julia has worked in the therapeutic school and program field since 2000. She is passionate about her work on behalf of struggling adolescents and their families.
Prior to joining Northwest Academy, she worked for a wilderness therapy program and therapeutic boarding school in Oregon and was responsible for both admissions and outreach. At one-time she worked for a company that owned six therapeutic boarding schools, one wilderness therapy program, and a young adult transition program.
Boulder Creek Academy was founded in 1993 to serve troubled adolescent boys and girls whose needs were not being met in traditional schools due to academic, emotional and mental health challenges.
