Evan has experience in a variety of settings as a therapist. She previously worked with SUWS, she graduated from Montana State University with a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling and is nearing completion for licensure (LCPC) in the state of Montana. Evan is highly passionate about working in adventure, wilderness, and directly with teens and families. Evan's experienced and extremely talented and Three Rivers is very excited to add her to our team. The founders of Three Rivers Montana Wilderness have been working together in wilderness programming for more than 12 years and are now heading into the fifth year as a program. Three Rivers has found success in using a very intentional family systems model and approach. Parents of students are coming to the program early in the intervention to begin learning about wilderness as a whole, the bigger picture of the industry, specifics of the program, and the work that they will take on to help their child and their family make long term change. As a program there has been a lot of positive feedback from numerous professionals, alumni (students and parents), staff, and others with regard to the quality of service in all areas of treatment. Three Rivers continues to stay true to their wilderness roots, operating in amazing wilderness settings, and maintaining high quality work in all areas while continuing to be a non-profit organization in a competitive market. © Copyright 2012 by Woodbury Reports, Inc. |
