Summit Preparatory School is proud to be a member of the Child Welfare League of America, whose mission is to build public will to ensure safety and well-being for children, youth, and their families.

Rick Johnson, MSW, Executive Director at Summit Preparatory School has been asked to serve on the National Residential Advisory Committee and will attend their next meeting in January, 2010, in Washington, D.C.

One of the main issues currently under review by this committee is regulation in response to concerns about abuse in private residential treatment programs, including discussion of George Miller's bill.
