Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Four of our clinicians are now certified in Mindfulness-Informed Eye Motion Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

EMDR is used to alleviate distress associated with traumatic events and is also effective in lowering the discomfort associated with negative feelings, memories, or sensations. Our clinicians have been using EMDR to treat symptoms of depression, anxiety, school refusal, substance abuse, body image issues, bereavement, etc.

Please join us at the Northeast Regional NATSAP where Summit Achievement clinician, Patricia Ruggles, will be presenting on her experience of becoming trained in Mindfulness-Informed EMDR and the many ways in which she has found it useful when working with clients.

Don't Miss it! Northeast NATSAP in Kennebunkport, ME on September, 30.

Patricia Ruggles, LCPC, CADC, NCC will present An eye opening experience: My journey from an EMDR skeptic to a true believer.
