Spectrum College Transition Program is offering a Summer Social Program for students, age 17-24 years old who present with a diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome, Executive Function deficits or High Functioning Autism. This experience is best for students who would garner much from a social college experience.

The focus of this summer program is to give students a two-week snap shot at how it feels to live away from home; experience social activities that they may not normally attempt; and tour various college campuses. Students will experience what it is like living in a dorm and attending college, as well as what Spectrum College expectations are, with several trips around the area.

Spectrum College Transition Program is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation, and was founded in 2009 by O. Robin Sweet and Dr. Thomas A. Bloom. Spectrum is the first co-educational Transition Program in the State of Arizona, specializing solely in students with Executive Function Deficits, Asperger's Syndrome, High Functioning Autism, and PDD-nos. The purpose of the program is to offer post-secondary students the opportunity to earn a college degree, work in their chosen field, and live a productive, independent, and successful life.
