CPR or Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation is a critical life skill learned by all Sober College students. "In their first 90 days, every student at Sober College goes through a class to receive a two-year certification for CPR," explains founder Robert Pfeifer. A former CPR and First Aid Trainer himself, Pfeifer inherently recognizes the importance of CPR for students in this unique drug treatment experience.
Eight-month old Baby Peter, son of Melisa Tablada, Sober College's Director of Administration, took a starring role in this cute and attention grabbing public service announcement about Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation.
"It was time for Peter to earn his keep", jokingly explains his mother Melisa Tablada. "He's been coming to work with me since I came back from pregnancy leave and when Robert presented the idea to me, I just couldn't stop laughing. The students did such an amazing job with the PSA. I can't believe I have this permanent record for Peter as he grows up. Not only do I work in such a family friendly company, my son also has the opportunity to already make a contribution. This definitely is not your ordinary drug rehab."

The Sober College Creative Arts Program invites students to express themselves in a number of different ways. Will Thomas and Lucas Weaverling, who head up the film program, spearheaded the project. "Peter was an absolute joy to work with. He didn't come to the table with the typical demands that most actors do. His level of professionalism and attention to detail is unparalleled. Peter is a one-take kind of actor. He comes in, we yell 'action', and he is in character right away. It's amazing to see him work," they both agreed.

According to Sober College founder Robert Pfeifer, "our students are extremely talented and projects like this inject the fun into sobriety and into drug treatment. I am excited for everyone to see this. Lucas and Will did an amazing job with the filming and thanks to Blair Rockefeller and Zac Hendel, the commercial features an original soundtrack. I couldn't be prouder."
