Shadow Mountain Recovery continues to expand the educational offerings for our residents. We are now providing 15-college eligible credits per semester.
In a combined effort with the University of New Mexico, we are accredited to provide High School and College Level credits for as part of our daily curriculum executed on the Shadow Mountain Sober Campus. Residents will be required to maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher to continue on to the next semester of classes. Tutoring will be available thru our experienced staff.
All credits achieved thru this joint effort will be credited to the residents, and will transfer to any other Colleges and Universities they may attend after completing Shadow Mountain Recovery. Transcripts for these classes will be processed thru the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
We are pleased to announce that these courses will be included in the cost of tuition to Shadow Mountain Recovery. There will be no additional tuition and fees thru the University for these specific courses. Enrollment for classes will begin August 20, 2012 on the campus of Shadow Mountain.
Shadow Mountain Recoveryis a privately owned recovery community for young men (17-30) who are impacted by substance abuse or addiction.
