We are pleased to announce the formation of a 501(C)3 public charity at Shadow Mountain effective immediately. Shadow Mountain remains a school of recovery.

The Holub family has worked diligently over the past several years in founding and designing a solid addiction recovery program. This public charity will provide others the opportunity to give and receive a 100% qualified tax deduction. Funds donated will provide scholarships to families unable to afford a higher level of care; allowing young men to receive the education necessary to live a responsible and fulfilling life in recovery.

Donations have a dual-purpose as they also provide jobs for those in recovery. These jobs will provide the beneficiary opportunities to learn vocational skills while working in a safe environment; supporting the recovery work they have done and hope to continue. This offering is another example of how SMR continually strives to make our program more cost effective, as well as supports our mission in preparing our residents for life outside of treatment and into independent living.

Shadow Mountain Recovery is a privately owned recovery school for young men (17-26) who are impacted by substance abuse or addiction. We teach the Twelve Steps within an activity based learning model with excellent academic and clinical resources to support success. Located in Taos, New Mexico, Shadow Mountain Recovery is a small, exclusive, family owned, student focused environment - a recovery school...because Life is in session! Admissions questions? Please call 800-764-7250.
