Schrom Boy's Home at Hawk's Landing (SBH) is excited to announce the beginning of its third year in providing specialized clinical treatment services to students and families! We thank all of those who have supported us over the past two years. We look forward to this year with hope and even more determination to provide the best treatment services to our clients.

Located in picturesque North Idaho, Schrom Boy's Home at Hawks' Landing is a therapeutic program committed to providing adolescents and their families with experiences that will enhance their growth and personal development. The program is specifically designed to help adolescents and their families move beyond their self-limiting beliefs that have kept them from achieving their potential.

The students at SBH are male adolescents ranging in age from 13 to 17 years old who possess special emotional, psychological, and behavioral needs. All of our students possess one common denominator: they have a need for change, and their lives must be provided with the appropriate environment to learn, practice, and internalize these changes. We provide an alternative to large expensive boarding schools by offering a smaller, intimate, quality, cost-effective, safe, and home-like environment. SBH prides itself on the one-on-one personal attention, creative and individualized treatment, and interpersonal relationships given to your child.

Dedicated to creating a therapeutic environment with all the comforts of a home-like setting, SBH strives to create honest, open, and positive relationships in order for your child to address those concerns and obstacles impeding them from being happy and proactive with their individual lives. Individual, family, group, and milieu therapy are all part of the SBH program aimed at cognitive and affective skill development, modifying current self-defeating behaviors, promoting interpersonal skills, and improving responsibility to self and others.

Schrom Boy's Home is owned and operated by John and Julia Schrom. For over 25 years, John has been a licensed Psychotherapist, Clinical Director, and Executive Director for profit and non-profit organizations and schools. Julia Schrom has over 20 years experience as a former Family Service Coordinator, Hospice Volunteer, Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, and Postpartum Doula.
