Weeks after hiring a new clinical staff, Dave Johnson, CEO and Owner of San Cristobal, has also decided to hire Devon Nanton, LSAC and Andy Coffin, CADC to take charge of San Cristobal's residential treatment offerings. "Once again, I have found just the right men for the job of helping me continue to build one of the most innovative addiction treatment programs for young adult men in the country," shares Johnson.

Devon Nanton is a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor (LSAC), and arrives after a long tenure as Residential Director at the well-known wilderness treatment program 'Passages to Recovery' in Utah. As Program Director, Devon is responsible for development of the program going forward, as well as working hands-on with clients in both residential and outdoor expedition environments. "I think Devon is the perfect fit for the position, not only is he trained in substance abuse counseling, but he believes whole-heartedly in using outdoor activity as a motivator for young men suffering from addiction," continues Johnson.

The new Residential Director will be Andy Coffin; he is a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CADC). He has been involved in the counseling field for close to 25 years. He specializes in Extended Residential Chemical Dependency Treatment, and Adventure Based Therapy. "He brings a diverse set of talents and sincere motivation to help the young adult men enrolled at San Cristobal, who are at a very critical time in their recoveries, and more importantly, their lives," so says Johnson.

Both Devon and Andy bring a multitude of years of personal recovery and will surely use his knowledge and personal experience to place themselves in a position to have a real, lasting impact on the young men involved in the program.

"I am very hopeful and optimistic at this point when I look at the program I have created," concludes Johnson. "I have always believed in the potential of San Cristobal, and I am very pleased with where we have come from and continue to push towards. My passion for recovery and helping these young men achieve seemingly un-achievable sobriety and true recovery from addiction, has been, and will always be my only goals."
