The faculty and staff at Ridge Creek School would like to take a moment to congratulate Senior Clay H. for earning a $40,000 scholarship from Millsaps College.
This prestigious academic award is a fitting climax to the high school career of this outstanding Ridge Creek School student.
While Clay's high school years presented some daunting obstacles and devastating setbacks, he refused to allow these to stand in his way. Instead, this determined young man examined his path and set about the hard work necessary to alter hte destructive course on which he found himself. His perseverance and dedication led to his success as a student and made him a leader on the Ridge Creek campus.
We will all miss him, but we wish Clay the best as he begins the next chapter in his life with such a solid and stable foundation.
