Dr. David Hillstead Joins RedCliff Ascent

Dr. David Hillstead will join RedCliff Ascent effective December 16, 2008. Dr. Hillstead has more than eleven years experience as a therapist. His prior experience includes Aspen Achievement and, most recently, Second Nature.

"RedCliff is a solid program and I'm excited to be joining them," Dr. Hillstead says. "Of all the programs I've visited, RedCliff is one of the strongest programs in the industry. I'm very impressed with the foundational pieces."

Hillstead earned his doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brigham Young University. "I love working with families and helping them work out some of their challenges," he notes.

RedCliff's Clinical Director, Dr. Dan Sanderson says that background will be a plus for RedCliff students and their parents. "David will be a strong voice as far as a family systems approach to therapy. We look forward to having that voice." He adds, "We welcome industry professionals who may wish to visit David and discuss his new role."

Hillstead is a powerful addition to program's strong clinical team. Dan Sanderson and David Hillstead have more wilderness experience than any therapists nationwide. We are happy to add a clinician with David's reputation and experience to our team.
