Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I write to you both excited and with a heavy heart. In 2006, I was asked by UHS to evaluate Boulder Creek Academy and Northwest Academy to offer my impressions and recommendations as the schools were building after their reopening. That task led to a widening of responsibilities that has included program development, director training, development of parent support groups, staff training, admissions and marketing. In 2008 I assumed the full-time position of Director of Admissions and Business Development for Northwest Academy. Eight years later, I am so proud of the success we have achieved. I feel privileged to have worked alongside some of the strongest, most tenured leaders in our field and some of the greatest kids I've met in my 20+ years career. They have all taught me so much. I am grateful to you for the confidence and trust you have shared with me along the way.

As most of you know, I have always maintained a program consulting and parent coaching practice through Powell & Elliott Collaborative outside of my work at Northwest Academy. I love working with programs - being the objective, critical eye that helps them challenge practices, improve services, enhance programming and reach more families. I also love working with parents - supporting them through crisis, helping them navigate their child's treatment journey and challenging paradigms. With this in mind, I have tendered my resignation at Northwest Academy to allow me to focus my efforts and expand my reach to a wider audience.

While I will sorely miss my monthly visits to North Idaho, I am confident in the team's ability to move Northwest Academy into its next chapter. I will be available indefinitely to support the transition of the admissions department. I will continue to provide training and consultation to both schools.

I am looking forward to expanding my practice - increasing my contribution and influence with current clients and reaching out to new programs and families. I know that many new adventures and lessons await me! I hope that our paths continue to cross and I look forward to deepening our relationship and working alongside you to better serve children, families and the programs that serve them.

Please update your Northwest Academy contact information as follows: 877-882-0980 and nwadmissions@uhsinc.com.

Warmly,

Brandi
