Director of Outreach & Marketing 860-916-8570 mjdegrandi@prnforfamilies.com www.prnforfamilies.com PRN for Families, a family outreach program specializing in family preservation and reunification services, is pleased to announce the expansion of our clinical team with the addition of Jared Tonks, M.Coun., LPC, NCC, NCSC and Kimberly Bryant, MA, LPC, as our newest Family Consultants. PRN's Family Consultants serve families by traveling into their homes and communities to assess, support, and coordinate wrap-around services, as well as to manage crises and create interventions to ensure that families can live together safely. Jared Tonks, M.Coun., LPC, NCC, NCSC, comes to PRN with over a decade of clinical experience working with adolescents, young adults and their families. He earned his Master of Counseling degree in School Counseling from Idaho State University, and is currently completing a Doctor of Education degree in Education Leadership from Idaho State University. He earned his B.A. in Sociology from Brigham Young University. Jared specializes in working with family systems using Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SBFT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), and his clinical philosophy is that clients have the capacity to solve their own problems when given the support and guidance to tap into their internal knowledge and resources. Jared's prior experience includes directing alumni and transition services for the Carlbrook School in VA, serving as the clinical director of SUWS Idaho, and providing clinical services in public schools, non-profit youth programs, and in private practice. He is a married father of five children, and enjoys playing sports, camping, and traveling with his family, as well as working on home-improvement projects. Jared and his family reside in rural Virginia. Kimberly Bryant, MA, LPC comes to PRN with extensive experience providing services to youth, families and young adults, and with a passion for home-based and community interventions. Kimberly earned her Master in Counseling degree from Naropa University in Boulder, CO and has worked within the Middle and High School environments as well as with County Departments. She has also worked in residential treatment and has maintained a private clinical practice in Boulder. Her career focus on Family Intervention, Preservation, and Reunification drew her to PRN for Families. Kimberly specializes in Interpersonal Neuropsychology, Family Systems, and Parent/Couples Therapy. Integrative interventions as well as trauma informed and sensitive research, practices, and supervision styles also guide her work. Kimberly lives in the mountains of Colorado with her husband and animals, where she loves to hike, dance, and listen to live music with her family and friends. Her son has recently started college, so her new-found free time is also spent practicing yoga and "geeking out" with the study of neuroscience. "The addition of these two, highly skilled and experienced clinicians to PRN's team represents an exciting expansion of the services that we are able to provide," says Charles Elias, PRN's Executive & Clinical Director. "Both Jared and Kimberly are uniquely qualified to deliver effective, clinically-focused wrap-around services in the home environment, and we are thrilled that they are joining PRN's efforts to offer the highest quality of support to a broad range of clients." Jared Tonks began with PRN on June 6th, and can be reached at jtonks@prnforfamilies.com. Kimberly will begin on June 13th, and can be reached at kbryant@prnforfamilies.com. Please join us in welcoming them both to the PRN for Families team.
