We are happy to announce that registration is now open for the 2014 Wilderness Therapy Symposium! The Symposium will be held at the Canyons Resort in Park City, Utah,from Thursday, August 28 to Saturday, August 30.

The deadline to receive an Early Bird Discount on registration is August 1. The deadline to receive the Symposium's discounted room rate (using the information below) is July 25. You can make reservations by calling the Canyons Reservation Department at 888-CANYONS (226-9667). Please identify yourself using the information below to receive the group's special rates:

Four pre-conference workshops will be held Thursday, August 28 from 9am to 3pm. Three workshops will be held offsite in wilderness areas near the Canyons Resort and can be purchased separately online. The fourth pre-conference workshop will take place onsite at the hotel and will focus on current trends in research. This onsite workshop is free of charge to all registered Symposium participants and includes a lunch keynote by Dr. Lee Gillis.

The Symposium will officially open Thursday, August 28 with a Networking Reception from 4-6 pm that is open to all participants as well as the general public and typically includes booths and exhibits by 20-30 organizations. Exhibition booths at the Networking Reception are still available and can be booked online through the registration website.

A dinner provided by Symposium sponsors will follow and feature a keynote lecture, titled The Powerful Role of Wilderness Therapy in the New Nature Movement, by bestselling author Richard Louv. Dinner sponsorships are still available, so please contact us for more information.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for the Symposium will be offered and are available for purchase online.
