New Leaf Academy is pleased to announce the expansion of our Residential Living options for students at our Rock Mesa campus.

On February 10, 2012, New Leaf Academy opened the second of two distinct residential living environments with the addition of Tumbleweed House to our existing Sagebrush House option. This addition allows our students to have the benefit of living in smaller "neighborhoods" while still enjoying the advantages of academics, activities and meals together in the larger group.

Tumbleweed House and Sagebrush House are configured as two autonomous living areas bordering the Great Hall of our Rock Mesa campus, which serves both houses. To accomplish this expansion, we have hired additional team members in the areas of residential coaching, awake overnight supervision and food services.

"We are all very pleased to be able to offer this smaller and even more individualized residential living experience for our girls" said Craig Christiansen, Founder and Executive Director. "It enhances the nurturing, home-like feel we have been known for while providing greater support for the important clinical and life skills work of each of our students".

New Leaf Academy Oregon is an all-girls therapeutic boarding school for 10-14 year olds at time of admission. Our program is tailored to the developmental, social, emotional and academic needs of a pre-adolescent and young adolescent girl.
