The National Association of Therapeutic Wilderness Camping (NATWC) is thrilled to announce an important event. In our continued effort to promote excellence in the field of outdoor and wilderness therapy, we have collaborated with Peak Experience on a unique training opportunity. We are also very grateful to Talisman Programs in North Carolina for volunteering to host the training.
NATWC invites you to attend our first Counselor Certification Training this spring. Conducted by the experienced facilitators of Peak Experience Training, the elements of this module are adapted from their highly regarded Clinical First Responder course and the requirements of the NATWC Counselor Certification. This course requires a high level of participation, and in return offers an impactful experience that will directly affect your competence working with others.
Individual members and staff of member programs receive a significant discount on the
training. Members also get a discount on the annual conference to be held at Opryland Hotel and Conference Center in Nashville, TN, in October. With that in mind, please take this opportunity to consider joining NATWC!
