An alumni of Brigham Young University in Provo, Matthew resides in Manti, Utah. Matthew brings with him a diverse skill set obtained from a wide range of experience. He has previously held positions as a research assistant, teacher, and program therapist for multiple adolescent residential treatment centers. His experience working with adolescent boys in residential settings gives Matthew a solid foundation for processing the kinds of attachment issues and trauma that Mount Pleasant students are faced with. Matthew is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists as well as the Society for the Study of Emerging Adulthood. Mount Pleasant Academy is a non-profit Treatment Center designed to assist adolescents and families who may be struggling with compulsive sexual behaviors, sensitive sexual issues, and/or digital addictions.
