Monarch Transitions is an option for some graduates who need extra support to transition from attending Monarch School to living independently. We provide a structured environment for graduates to practice the skills they learned at Monarch School in a larger community.

Monarch Transitions home is safe and conveniently located near shopping and social scenes while providing good access to outdoor activities. Participants may walk or use a bike to reach supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, etc.

Participants live in a Monarch Transitions home for at least three months before moving into one of our independent living programs. This allows time for the participants to settle into their new life and show they have the required skills to live independently.

Participants are able to continue with their high school education through the use of a national online school accredited by Monarch School's same accrediting agency. This allows students to receive a Monarch School diploma. In addition to finishing their high school work, they may also attend any online program or local colleges and universities.

With daily guidance and support from Monarch Transitions, participants are taught to problem-solve, strategize, work through their issues and, ultimately, live independently.

We are in the process of remodeling the transition home, and we expect to open our Monarch Transitions home by the end of the month.

Please call us at Monarch School campus to learn more about Monarch Transitions. Thank you!

Respectfully,
Michelle and Patrick McKenna
