Youth Health Associates would like to introduce our new Clinical Supervisor at Lakeview Girl's Academy. We are very pleased and fortunate to welcome Nick Browning as the new therapist for our young women.
Nick received a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Utah with an emphasis in substance abuse. In his last year of the Masters program he chose the forensic social work domain of study. During this final year of study he developed an interest in working with at risk youth involved in the criminal justice system. What further cultivated his interest was working with and realizing that vulnerable youth can become powerful leaders and productive members of society. Nick truly values assisting others, especially youth, by taking their pain and turning it into wisdom because it reminds him that every human being deserves a chance to be successful.
Nick enjoys to run marathons, snowmobile, snow and water ski, and to generally be outdoors. Nick lived on the east coast for a few years in Georgia and Virginia where he operated a small pest control business that is still thriving today. His favorite quote is, "That which we persist in doing becomes easier to do, not that the nature of the thing has changed but our capacity to do has increased".
Youth Health Associates is the largest and most trusted treatment provider in the state of Utah for sexually aggressive youth and youth with sexual behavior problems, conduct disordered youth, and Asperger's and Autistic youth, as well Developmentally Delayed and Mentally Retarded youth dealing with these issues. We find it necessary to share as much knowledge as possible to help promote the healthy lives of these young men and women.
Best Regards,
