Aaron Aldridge is a highly skilled professional with more than 10 years of experience in the field of adolescent therapy. Aaron comes to La Europa Academy after having been part of a team that opened and operated a multi-faceted adolescent treatment center elsewhere in the Salt Lake Valley. He also served as the director of an adolescent transition program for teens emerging from residential treatment. Aaron's years in residential treatment and outpatient settings have uniquely qualified him to assist families and teens in crisis. Utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical-behavioral therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing, Aaron's focus is to help teens who struggle with issues such as severe mood disorders and substance abuse, and who deal with complex family dynamics. Additionally, his multi-level educational portfolio with Bachelor degrees in Business and Human Services, and a Master's degree in Counseling, along with his years of hands-on management and work in various clinical settings, make him a standout leader at La Europa. As a father, Aaron empathizes with parents who must make the heart-wrenching decision to seek professional help that often is so far from their home. His goal is to help each young lady who attends La Europa Academy return to a fulfilling and productive life. Aaron has two children - one in college and the other completing her last year of high school. He loves spending time with them both! However, when he does have a moment to himself, he enjoys looking through antique shops for hidden treasures, searching for the perfect cup of coffee, and riding his Harley on sunny days. Please join us in welcoming Aaron to the La Europa team! He can be reached at 801-910-5896 or AAldridge@laeuropa.com. For admissions assistance, call Alina Lamoreaux at 801-916-5696.
