To the editor,

In the fall of 2007 we sent our fifteen year old son to Anasazi for six weeks. His behavior had become unmanageable at home and we desperately needed help. Anasazi was the best thing we could have done for him. The wilderness experience helped him to have "awakenings" and see his own seeds of greatness. It taught him that he is responsible for his choices, and that he can choose to walk forward or walk backward. The parenting classes helped us learn how to better communicate with him. He has been home for well over a year now, and although he has done some backward walking, he is trying to repair his past mistakes and walk forward. I am so grateful for the Anasazi program and I highly recommend it for anyone searching for help and healing for a struggling teen.
