John Dewey Academy Completing Transition

Listen to the 7 minute Woodbury Report now.

Ken Joined Lon October 16th to explain the transition of John Dewey Academy in the last couple of years following the death of the school's founder Tom Bratter. The school mission has stayed the same, to provide top quality college prep academics to students who have been struggling with school and life, and to prepare them to be totally ready for college. Ken explained they have not lowered their standards, but are more patient with the students and more inclusive about the colleges they will help their graduates qualify for.

John Dewey Academy is a year-round college preparatory therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens ages 15 -21. JDA utilizes peer-based approach that leads students to high levels of achievement and inspires them to develop in ways that promote self-respect, maturity, and respect for others.
