Safeguard Adolescent Services recently announced that it is now offering a new option for the temporary placement of both male and female adolescents. Interim House is designed to provide a safe environment for teens that are waiting to enter a program, transitioning from a short or long-term treatment facility, in the process of changing treatment facilities or serving suspension time from an academic boarding school.

Interim House is located in Lehi, UT, which is about 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. With a maximum of three residents at Interim House, there is 24-hour individual supervision with same sex staff, and a registered nurse is available to dispense required medications. The length of stay at Interim House is from one day to two weeks depending on the time lapse before a student can enter a program.
