InnerChange is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Cressey & Company, a private investment firm that works with leading healthcare companies.

Val Christensen, who founded InnerChange in 2006, will remain a minority shareholder and the chairman of InnerChange. Additionally, other members of InnerChange's executive team have become minority shareholders and will continue to lead the company. These individuals are Lance Davis, InnerChange's chief executive officer and chief financial officer; Dustin Tibbitts, LMFT, who serves as the company's president and chief clinical officer; and Kimball DeLaMare, LCSW, who is InnerChange's senior vice president. Cressey & Company has purchased a majority ownership position in InnerChange.

"This development is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our caregivers and to the effectiveness of our treatment programs," said Mr. Tibbitts. "The principles of our business - quality and attentive care and a relationship-focused, female-specific approach that treats the entire family - will continue to guide all that we do. We look forward to continuing to work with our colleagues and friends to achieve our mission of helping adolescent and young women overcome their emotional and behavioral difficulties to lead productive and fulfilling lives."

"Cressey & Company focuses on partnering with high-quality healthcare organizations that are committed to continuous quality improvement and strive to produce the very best clinical outcomes possible," said Senator William H. Frist, MD, a partner and the chairman of the executive board of Cressey & Company. "InnerChange has developed rigorous, evidence-based tools to measure and track outcomes that empower ongoing quality improvement. We believe these patient-centered metrics will become the industry standard for delivering high-quality behavioral healthcare."

Cressey & Company is a private investment firm focused exclusively on investing in and building leading healthcare businesses. Its residential treatment and transitional living programs are clinically sophisticated and designed to facilitate whole-family healing.
