Founded in October 2003, InCrisis, LLC is intended to provide Internet based analysis and screening services for parents and caretakers of teenage children who do not have timely or affordable access to qualified mental health care services. InCrisis maintains a formal collaboration with Mentor Research Institute, a non-profit organization.

Developed first for parents, the company website and resources are available so professionals can review the computer assisted behavioral analyses on children ages 12-17. Parents can choose from the following reports; clinical screening, intervention options and risk analysis. The goal is to support parents, schools, health care agencies and health care professionals with mental health education and personalized information. InCrisis does not provide treatment, diagnostics, evaluation, assessment or emergency services.

InCrisis believes that "no educational or information processing service can replace the value of a face-to-face assessment and treatment by a qualified professional.” The company offers an optional first step for parents who live in remote areas, cannot afford or locate appropriate screening services, and those who need to know what intervention and treatment options are available.
