The offering runs for fifteen weeks. Another session is offered in the Fall, 2013. The Gap Year Semester in Paris offers two fifteen-week sessions each academic year. The next program begins in January, 2013. This offering is for college-aged students and is rooted in substantial community service work, intensive language training, a cross-cultural core seminar, and a personal project. Your time abroad will feature the possibility of a home stay or accommodations in a French foyer as well as substantive travel and cultural experiences. This engagement offers an unusual opportunity to live in Paris and enjoy the benefits of time away while preparing for the rigors and responsibilities of higher education and beyond. The program is rooted in David Denman's wonderful Sojourns Abroad offering in Siena, but has several different emphases:
