These new members bring the total membership of ISPA to 17. The new members are all outstanding programs and schools providing the highest quality service to young people and their families. Compass Rose Academy Compass Rose Academy in Wabash, IN is a faith-based 12-bed therapeutic boarding school serving girls with abuse recovery; depression; identity or body image issues; conflicts with peers; parents or authority; social isolation or rejection; mild self-harm and school problems.It has evolved from a not-for-profit Faith-based organization, White's Residential Services, a 160 year old child care organization established by Josiah White. It is licensed as a residential child care facility by the Indiana Department of Child Services and is accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) under the group living standards. Dee Gibson, MA, LCSW, is the CEO of White's Residential and Family Services, and, in my opinion, is a dynamic and visionary leader. Denae Green is the Admission Director. Latham Centers Latham Centers in Brewster, MA on Cape Cod offers nationally recognized innovative treatment and support services for two groups of individuals: 1) developmentally delayed girls and boys, and 2) children and adults with Prader-Willi syndrome. Others served have been diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, Asperger's Syndrome, Autism, or Reactive Attachment Disorder. Latham Centers is a co-ed program that started in 1970. Primary facilities are located on a campus in Brewster, MA with independent living and group homes located also in Brewster and other nearby Cape Cod towns for their adult programs. Latham is COA accredited and has some of the best facilities (especially compared to several group homes I have seen in the country). Anne McMAnus is the CEO at Latham and a member of MAAPS.
