Janet Greenwood, an Educational Consultant from Florida and Nancy Ike, also an Educational Consultant from Ohio, were the recipients of two special awards by the Independent Small Programs Alliance (ISPA) at their banquet held the evening of January 19, 2011 in Tucson, AZ.

An ISPA banquet is held each year on the eve of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP) Annual National Conference. The purpose of these banquets is to help the Programs and Educational Consultants network and better understand the services each member of the Alliance provides. More than 70 program staff and Educational Consultants attended the banquet held in a private club in Tucson.

This year, Nancy Ike was awarded the ISPA Outstanding Achievement award and Janet Greenwood was awarded the Outstanding Distinguished Service Award.

ISPA is an alliance of small programs organized by Andy Anderson of Florida to help small schools and programs with small budgets, to help each other improve their visibility, academics and therapy for children, adolescents and adults. The members of the Alliance include Alpine Academy of Utah, Building Bridges of Montana, and Cardinal Cushing Centers of Massachusetts, Dragonfly Transitions of Oregon, FL Chamberlain School of Massachusetts, and Germaine Lawrence of Massachusetts, Grove School of Connecticut, New Lifestyles of Virginia, Summit Preparatory School of Montana and The Wediko School of New Hampshire.
