Havenwood Academy is a residential treatment center for teen girls with Reactive Attachment Disorder based in Cedar City, UT. Founded in 2014, Havenwood has focused its efforts on developing a unique specialty in RAD, trauma, and other attachment related issues. Using a Positive Peer Culture program model led by Program Director, Oscar Fakahua, Havenwood Academy provides an environment of care and concern for children with attachment related issues.

Havenwood Academy is owned and operated by Blaine & Kirsten Hofeling, and Lou Trotta who have found that helping these girls overcome their obstacles and reconnect with their families is extraordinarily fulfilling. Having raised a large family themselves, Blaine & Kirsten feel they are in their element as they manage the day to day operations on site at Havenwood.

Licensed by the State of Utah and accredited by the Joint Commission, Havenwood utilizes state-of-the-art, research based and proven clinical methods such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Experiential Therapy, and Equine Therapy to help teen girls overcome their difficulties and learn to bond with their families. Havenwood's Positive Peer Culture program allows teen girls to experience deep and lasting change.
