Greenbrier Academy is pleased to announce that Ron Schwenkler has received two new certifications over the last several months:

The first is Grief Recovery Specialist. This certification takes students through a process of recovery that stems from childhood pain, trauma or other experiences that cause grief. It brings a depth to other aspects of our therapeutic model as it directly relates to the process of forgiveness, responsibility and empowerment.

Secondly, Ron has been approved as a Licensed Professional Supervisor. This state licensure is earned by criteria set forth by the state of West Virginia and allows Ron to supervise therapists coming out of graduate school who are working towards their licensure.

We want to congratulate Ron on these accomplishments and are excited about this enhancement of services our clinical team has to offer our staff and students.

Additionally, we want to announce and congratulate Ron on the addition to his family with the birth of a baby girl, Ava Leigh, who joins her 2 older brothers.
