The face of GRA is changing. After almost four decades on campus, Headmaster Randy Blum will be be retiring at the end of June. His accomplishments are legendary; five new campus buildings, a strong and stable teaching and administration staff, and an enhanced reputation that has GRA in the national and international spotlight.
Over 200 attended a reception to honor Mr. Blum on June 1st at the Bud Field Student Center. As a way to further honor his service to GRA, the Academy has set up The Randy Blum Scholarship. Many alumni have stepped up to show their gratitude to Mr. Blum by making a gift to this fund.
Mr. Tim Viands will become the new Headmaster at GRA starting this summer. Mr. Viands comes to us from St. Thomas More school in Connecticut. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Viands at GRA Homecoming on October 27, 2012.
In other news, with graduation taking place recently, we said goodbye to a group of young men and their families, some of whom we have known for four years. It is our sincere hope that they will keep us in their thoughts as we continue our mission amidst the changes that are taking place on campus and around the world. GRA and its dedicated staff can only continue with your support whether it is acting as a referral source for new students or helping us with our many campus needs.
