Marengo Appointed Gatehouse Admissions

Gatehouse Academy is pleased to announce that Anthony Marengo has been promoted to Director of Admissions. Anthony joined the Gatehouse Academy Staff after completing the year long program himself. Since completing the program in 2005, Anthony has been intimately involved in several aspects of the Gatehouse Academy Program. He has functioned as Assistant Director of Family Communications, Residential Director of Haven Oaks Farm, and Program Director of Gatehouse College Campus. His experience in these areas brings great understanding and knowledge of the Gatehouse Program and Recovery to the Admissions department.

Anthony brings an educational background in Psychology and a personal experience that is invaluable in assisting families and identifying with potential residents struggling with addiction. Primarily Anthony will coordinate the physical admission and help pave the way toward building a new foundation of recovery for new residents and families. What attracted Anthony to stay at Gatehouse Academy was opportunity to help others find recovery. Anthony knows first hand that Gatehouse's focus is on 12-step recovery, individualized therapeutic work, and strong leadership and life skills.
