At Gatehouse, we are committed to assisting individuals fight addiction regardless of the difficulty of the struggle. As we are all aware, addiction is a cunning and powerful disease. In recent months, Kent Sherman has faced a renewed challenge posed by his addiction which included law enforcement action which has been resolved. We are pleased to report that Kent accepted the challenge and has taken appropriate steps just as we encourage our residents to do each day. Kent is currently under the care of medical professionals on an out-patient basis and is actively engaged in other forms of treatment.
The purpose of this release is to fully inform the Gatehouse Community of these events and to show our support for Kent just as we would do for any other recovering addict. At Gatehouse we practice what we preach. Kent will be taking a short sabbatical from his duties at Gatehouse to allow him to address personal issues. In his absence Leah Briick and Steve Cole will fulfill Kent's daily duties. If you have any concerns about these events, please contact Leah Briick.
