InnerChange is excited to announce that Dr. Norma Clarke has joined the Fulshear Ranch Academy team as our consulting Psychiatrist. Dr. Clarke brings a wealth of expertise and experience to Fulshear. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in acute care as well as residential and outpatient settings. Most recently, Dr. Clarke served as Medical Director of the Adolescent Treatment Program of the Menninger Clinic in Houston, TX. Dr. Clarke has expertise in diagnosing and treating bipolar disorders, personality disorders, PTSD, mood and psychotic disorders. She is known and respected for her thoughtful approach to treatment and medication management.

Fulshear Ranch Academy, located in Needville, TX, is a young adult treatment and transition program for women ages 18 through 24 experiencing emotional and behavioral issues that could prevent a safe transition to independence. Common issues treated at Fulshear include dual diagnosis, personality disorders; bi-polar, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), addiction, severe depression and anxiety, and poor body image. Many of the young women at Fulshear have histories of multiple failed placements, and for these families, Fulshear provides the tools needed for lasting independence. Our three phase program allows girls to learn, grow, and thrive in an environment of intensive and clinically sophisticated treatment, health and wellness education, equine therapy, academics, and experiential life-skills training. Our goal is to support and empower young women towards healthy independence.
