Please join us in welcoming Mike Hench, MS, MBA, LMFT as the newest member of the Foundation House "foxhole."

After working the past seven years as a young adult therapist at Second Nature Entrada wilderness therapy program, Mike has taken a new position as the Director of Business Development and Therapist at Foundation House, an extended care sober living facility in Portland, Maine. He is excited to return to his East Coast roots and has brought along his wife Carrie and three children along with him to experience all the beauty coastal Maine has to offer.

Mike has developed a reputation working with young adult men in addiction and recovery and with his clinical and business background, we are privileged to have him on board. He will complement our two other clinicians, Jacob Thomason and Carsten McCarter, to round out our clinical team of former therapists from three of the top wilderness therapy programs in the industry (Jacob came to us from Passages To Recovery & Carsten from Wilderness Treatment Center).

In addition to working as a clinician, Mike will also be working on program development, referral relationships and developing organizational structure and efficiency.

Foundation House is an extended care, sober living program for young men, that includes a full spectrum of 12-Step, Holistic, Athletic, Art, LADC and Wilderness Therapies.
